Serving, Sharing, & Caring in New England and Beyond

FLC is proud to partner with Lutheran Social Services (LSS), one of the largest social service organizations in New England. Every year, its 1,600 employees and 1,800 volunteers serve more than 20,000 people in 65 locations throughout six New England states, regardless of their background or belief.

LSS serves children, youth and families; persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness and deafness; persons who are economically disadvantaged; refugees, including unaccompanied refugee minors; and older adults.

In 2012, LSS celebrated 140 years of serving people in need through communities of care, delivering personalized, compassionate service with high standards of clinical sophistication and operational excellence.

LSS is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is a member of Lutheran Services in America, the nationwide network of Lutheran social ministry organizations that comprises one of this nation’s largest charities and serves one in 50 Americans.
